No, I”m not talking about internet. Tate has had a busy morning. He was circumcised, had blood drawn for jaundice (which came back fine) and he got rid of his IV! He’s doing great. He had a little trouble waking up to nurse after all that, but he nursed great last night. I’m waiting for the doctor to come in and let me know what the plan is for me. I imagine I’ll be discharged this afternoon, but I’ll still be staying here in the same room. It basically means I’ll actually be able to step outside for the first time since Friday. Pat and I may venture to Walmart to pick up a few things, but that’s probably about all I’ll be doing. I am feeling much better. I did get some sleep last night. The swelling in my ankles has gone down and the pain from where the epidural went in is almost gone. The bed I was moved to is way more comfortable than the other bed so I slept much better last night. The LDR unit has been very busy. Yesterday morning it was almost empty and then they had 4 come in ready to deliver. By last night I think they had 5 more including 2 other preterms. The nurse said they have somthing like 50 deliveries this month, which is a lot for a small hospital. I think they only have 6 LDR rooms. Well, I am going to rest up a little before Pat gets here. We are scheduled to have a candelight dinner for lunch!
