The speech therapist came out to evaluate Cole today. It sounds like he is doing well, but doesn’t imitate sounds like he should, which he never really has. So it sounds like we may have speech therapy sessions a couple times a month. I guess it’s better to get him on the right track now. I’m not thrilled about it, but I guess you do what’s best for your child.
This morning he was up earlier than usual. I finally went up to get him and his sheet was soaked. My first thought was that Pat didn’t put a diaper on him last night. But he had a diaper on, and on correctly. So in short, we won’t be buying Target diapers anymore. Here is what his bed sheet looked like. The big dry area was mostly covered by his blanket.![]()
I’ve been experimenting with diaper brands. We started out in Pampers, which were great until about size 2 when we had to bump him up a size at night. Then we switched to Luvs which have been great except for his plumber’s crack. So I thought I’d try Huggies, which were ok, and Target, which were ok until last night. I think maybe we’ll try some more Huggies and see how they hold up at night. I usually buy diapers from diapers.com because it’s much easier than going to Walmart all the time. It’s a little cheaper, but not a lot. I guess we’ll try another pack of Huggies before buying the big case. Ugh, when do they potty train???
